We would like to announce a new membership structure that will go into place at the beginning of July. Starting July 1st we will change from a rolling yearly membership to an official membership year (July 1st - June 30th). This will allow us to get everyone ready for the Golf Outing and football season. This year we will be sending out membership cards with discounts from local merchants throughout Chicagoland. We will send out new details closer to July 1st. Members will have access to deals from various places in Chicago includign: American Back, Mickey’s Bar & Patio, Flirty Girl Fitness, and ChiTown Deals. |

Spring Speaker Event- Jim Foster Ohio State Women's Basketball Coach Where: Sky Club 901 W. Madison St. 10th Floor Chicago, IL 60607 When: Wednesday May 19, 2010 Time: 6:30 to 8:30PM Who: Jim Foster's collegiate experience consists of jobs at Ohio State, Vanderbilt and St. Joseph's (Pa.) universities. Throughout his coaching career, the Abington, Pa., native has posted a 685-272 (.715) record and his squads have made 24 postseason appearances. At Ohio State, he has helped the Buckeyes qualify for a school record-tying seven-consecutive NCAA tournaments and rank in the national Top 10 in four of the last the last five seasons, including 96-consecutive weeks in the Associated Press Top 25. In 2007-08 Foster recorded his 650th career win -- becoming the 13th women’s coach in Division I to win 650 games -- and recorded his 10th-consecutive 20-win season last year in 2009. Over the last five seasons, Ohio State owns the seventh-best winning percentage (.836) and has the ninth-most wins (138) in Divsion I. Since he was hired, Foster has mentored five WNBA draft picks while he and his players have turned Value City Arena into one of the most intimidating venues for opposing teams. Last season the Buckeyes finished 16-2 (13-2 at Value City Arena, 2-0 at St. John Arena and 1-0 at Nationwide Arena) at home while posting a remarkable 81-5 record at home over the last five years. The Buckeyes have posted two perfect home records under Foster, going 14-0 in his first year in 2002-03 and 17-0 in 2004-05. What/Why: An intimate networking and cocktail event where alumni have the opportunity to talk to Jim Foster and hear him speak. Appetizers will also be served.
